Instagram videos are increasing, and top it all off is the launch of live video feeds on Twitter with Meerkat. Periscope users shared their live streams on Twitter 1.5 million times through May 22 (1,510,709, to be exact) since the app became popular in March, according to Nuvi. The social analytics company has now also revealed that Periscope competitor Meerkat's live stream URLs were shared on Twitter 1,521,424 times.
Also, more than 80% of senior executives watch more videos than they did a year ago and three-quarters of executives are watching work-related videos every week! And given the choice, 59% of executives would rather watch a video than read an article.
